Lumera Learning is a school-based music therapy practice in Rochester, NY, providing PreK-12 individual, group, and classroom music therapy as a related service on students' IEPs, along with evaluations, consultation, and staff training, to school districts across Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, and Livingston counties and surrounding areas.

One-on-one, tailored to each student's IEP goals and strengths.
Small groups
Group sessions built around complementary goals and shared skills.
Classroom groups
Whole-class skill building with the classroom program's focus areas in view.
Consultation
Direct and indirect support for students and their educational teams, so skills carry over across settings.
Co-treatment
Joint sessions with OT, PT, or speech to align therapies.
Extended School Year
Summer continuation for eligible students to maintain momentum.

Lumera Learning didn't start from scratch — it started from proof. For years, our team built something luminous as the schools division of Spectrum Creative Arts: its own culture, its own methods, and deep trust with the districts it served. The work was always distinct. Lumera is that work stepping into its own light — the start of the next chapter.
